The Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) is Hong Kongʼs first smart factory pilot project, built to Industry 4.0 standards. The team delivered a fully executed MiMEP pilot project—not just proposed, but completed—with over 5,500 MEP modules fabricated offsite, achieving 75% MiMEP adoption.
Leveraging BIM, DfMA, and IoT, the team streamlined design, clash detection, and fabrication. A flying factory just 550m from site enabled rapid delivery and reduced labour by 30%. RFID and STAMP systems ensured real-time tracking, quality control, and productivity analysis. AMC proves MiMEP is not a future concept - itʼs a realised solution that saved 5% programme time and elevated construction standards. The team didnʼt just plan MiMEP - they built it.
